Photography Publishing Guidelines
EULA / Terms of Service & Community Rules
Last Updated: 2026-03-04
Welcome to FocalPath. To keep the community safe and respectful, please read these rules before publishing photography works or interacting with others.
By accessing, registering, posting content, or using the service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to this EULA / Terms of Service and Community Rules. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
1. What You May Publish
You may publish your photography works and related descriptions, shooting parameters, and metadata (e.g., gear, focal length, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, post-processing notes).
You must have all necessary rights or permissions to publish your content (including copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, trademarks, etc.).
- Prefer original works you shot, or works you are authorized to publish.
- If your work includes identifiable people or private information, ensure you have consent or a valid legal basis.
- If your images contain sensitive metadata (e.g., location), decide whether to remove it before uploading.
2. Prohibited Content (Not Allowed)
The platform explicitly prohibits posting, distributing, or facilitating distribution of the following (in images, text, links, tags, comments, DMs, or any form):
- Illegal content or anything that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Violence or gore, graphic harm, extremist violence, or incitement to violence.
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content; any sexual content involving minors will be removed immediately and may be reported.
- Harassment or hate: threats, stalking, doxxing, discrimination, or hateful content targeting individuals or groups.
- Self-harm or dangerous acts: encouragement of self-harm/suicide or dangerous challenges.
- Privacy violations: sharing sensitive personal data (IDs, addresses, phone numbers, bank details) or exposing others without consent.
- Infringement or impersonation: stolen works, unauthorized copyrighted materials, counterfeit identities, or trademark misuse.
- Spam, scams, phishing links, malware, or other fraudulent content.
3. Content Filtering (Basic Automated Detection)
To reduce harmful content, we apply basic content-safety filtering and risk detection to user content.
- Keyword filtering for titles, descriptions, comments, and tags.
- Basic automated detection for images/text (e.g., coarse detection of sexual, violent, or harassing content).
- Manual review may be triggered by reports, risk rules, or safety signals.
- You understand filtering may produce false positives/negatives; we continuously improve but do not guarantee perfect accuracy or real-time action.
4. Reporting (Users Can Report Content)
Any user may report works, comments, or accounts that appear to violate these rules.
- Please provide a clear reason (e.g., sexual content, violence, harassment, infringement, fraud) and any helpful details.
- We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, or suspend/ban accounts based on reports.
- Abuse of reporting (e.g., false or harassing reports) may result in restrictions on your reporting ability.
5. Blocking Users (Block)
You may block other users to reduce unwanted interactions.
- After you block someone, their content disappears immediately from your perspective (including their works, detail views, and related visible content).
- Blocking does not automatically delete the other user's content and does not affect what others can see (unless the content is also found to violate rules).
- Block events are recorded for safety, abuse prevention, and moderation follow-up.
6. Moderation Promise (Handled Within 24 Hours)
When you submit a report or block a user, the event is recorded and the developer is notified.
We promise: within 24 hours of notification, we will complete an initial review and action, and we will state the decision and rationale in the moderation note.
- Possible actions include: removing/unlisting content, limiting visibility, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary or permanent bans, and evidence preservation.
- For clear illegal content or immediate safety risks, we may take urgent measures and cooperate with lawful requests where required.
- If you believe a decision is incorrect, you may appeal by contacting us via email with relevant details.
7. Liability & Changes
You are responsible for the content you publish and its consequences. We may take action on content/accounts under these rules and applicable law.
We may update these rules from time to time. Material changes will be notified in a reasonable manner; continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.
