1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information: username, email, password (stored only in hashed/encrypted form).
- Profile information: avatar, display name, bio, and any content you choose to provide.
- Content & interactions: works you upload/publish, images, titles/descriptions, tags/categories, likes, comments, bookmarks, follows, etc.
- Parameters & metadata: shooting parameters and EXIF/device info; if your images include location metadata, we may process it (you control whether to keep it before uploading).
- Device & log data: identifiers (e.g., cookies/session tokens), IP address, browser/device model, OS version, crash logs, timestamps, and usage events.
- Support & feedback: information you send via feedback or email.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain the service (registration/login, content display, community features, personalization).
- Keep the platform safe (fraud prevention, abuse/spam detection, account security).
- Communicate with you (verification emails, essential notices, responding to requests).
- Improve the product (analytics, performance, debugging, feature iteration).
- Comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share only when necessary:
- Public display: content you publish publicly (works, parameters, comments, username/avatar) may be visible to others.
- Service providers: vendors for hosting, storage, content delivery (CDN), email delivery, analytics, and security (contractually restricted).
- Legal & protection: to comply with law or protect the rights and safety of you, us, and the public.
- Business changes: mergers, acquisitions, or reorganizations (subject to this policy or notice of changes).
4. User Content, Copyright, and License to Display
You (or the original rightsholder) retain copyright and related rights in the images/works and associated text you upload or publish ("User Content").
To operate the service and display/distribute User Content, you grant us the following license (to the extent permitted by applicable law):
- Scope: non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable (subject to your deletion/unpublishing of the relevant User Content), and sublicensable solely to service providers necessary to provide the service (e.g., object storage and CDN).
- Rights granted: host, store, reproduce, transmit, publish, publicly display, and make available User Content, and perform technical processing as necessary (e.g., resize, compress, transcode, crop to generate thumbnails, add watermarks, convert formats, and adapt for different devices). Such processing will not change the core expressive content of your work.
- Term: effective while your User Content remains on the platform; after you delete/unpublish, we will stop public display within a reasonable time, but may retain copies as required for caching, backups, logs, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
- Your warranty: you represent that you own or have obtained all rights and permissions needed to upload User Content and grant the above license, and that your User Content does not infringe third-party copyrights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other lawful rights.
- Infringement handling: upon receiving a valid notice/complaint, we may take actions required by law including removing or disabling access to content, preserving evidence, and (where legally permitted) sharing your contact information with the complaining rightsholder.
5. iOS Permissions & Device Capabilities (If Applicable)
With your permission, the iOS app may access:
- Photos/Files: to select and upload images and related parameters.
- Camera: to capture and upload (if provided).
- Notifications: to alert you about interactions and important updates (you can disable in system settings).
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
You may delete content via in-product features; we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable timeframe (unless retention is legally required).
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (e.g., access controls and encrypted transport). However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required by your local law). If we learn we collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Withdraw consent or restrict processing (e.g., disable notifications; remove location metadata from photos).
- Close your account (if available).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by other means.
